About the Blogger
Stef. That’s what my friends call me. But they also call me other nicknames – beats me why they love giving me so many nicknames. But they’re all endearments yes?
I'm an animal lover. I love dogs, cats, snakes, birds, and just about any member of the Animal Kingdom – except maggots.
I’m a nerd. Sigh. I love math – I actually won trophies for national math quiz bees. (I still can’t believe I used to be that nerdy.) And if that’s not nerdy enough, I’m an honor student from pre-school to medical school. But don’t worry, I try not to look too nerdy - “try” being the operative term.
I’m a writer. I have written for several print magazines (Good Housekeeping, Women’s Heath, Big C) and websites, too. Maybe I write a lot because I talk a lot. Yakity-yak yak.
I’m a doctor. Oh, wait, I already said that. I’m also a nurse. That explains why I have two professional licenses in my wallet.
Please add my Google profile to your circles! But that’s too much info on me already. So, let’s proceed.
About the Blog
Life and fever started out as a means of passing time. Out of boredom and curiosity, I started blogging. I thought of “Life and Fever” as the name of my blog because they are both “symptoms” in a way: they represent a bigger entity, but you are going to have to figure out what it is. With both, you need to get to the bottom of things.
Or maybe I didn’t know what else to call my blog. Ha, ha.
Life and Fever is a personal blog. Nope, no niches. I guess I like life in general, so I have no need to stick to one field. Forgive me for being anti-niche. I know, I know, Google is so not gonna love me.
But Life and Fever is a friendly blog. So feel free to visit and there will always be virtual cookies and milk for every visitor. Read away. And let me know what you think.
