This post brought to you by Kia Rio. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do you like scavenger hunts? Do treasure hunts make you want to say, “Argh, matey!” If so, then the Kia Rio Scavenger Hunt just might be the thing for you! Oh yes, it’s going to be an exciting scavenger hunt as you go around Los Angeles, seeking out hidden clues with your best buddy or your loved one. And if you succeed, you get to shake hands with a true-blue celeb from Hollywood.

Sounds good? Read on.

Scavenger Hunt by Kia Rio

Two teams, both comprising two best friends, participated on the Zip and Dash geocache contest in Los Angeles using the Kia Rio 5-door 2012 model. At the end of the road, a prize awaited the winner – and the “prize” happened to be Christina Milian, whew!

Kia Rio

Despite the challenging hunt, the contestants had a great time because Kia Rio was a great car model, what with its USB jack (great for MP3 flash drives you have with you), a rear camera display that helps you look behind you without turning your head, and a Bluetooth capacity. Techie, huh? But I love the USB jack the most, being a music buff myself! All thanks to the UVO Technology courtesy of Microsoft.

The contestants had to visit five different venues: the Merry-Go-Round found at the Griffith Park, Rodeo Drive, Amoeba Records, Roosevelt Hotel, and Pink’s Hot Dogs. I think the hardest challenge involves the Rodeo Drive - but that's just me! Read on for the exciting video.

It was a great scavenger hunt. But don’t take my word for it – watch the video and check it out for yourself!

Oh, and don’t forget to visit the Rio Explorer Page – see if there are any Kia Rio Scavenger Hunts to be held anytime soon.

What do you think? Would you join this scavenger hunt using Kia Rio with your best friend, too? If you can choose which celebrity you get to meet at the end of the hunt, who would it be? Leave a comment and tell me!
